Seed of Health is a student-initiated non-profit organization with the mission of improving population health of underserved communities around the world.

We are a team of UC Berkeley students and alumni who are passionate about making a tangible impact on global health care. We seek to empower local health care professionals and establish self-sustaining clinics to help underprivileged communities plant and nurture “seeds of health” for better, healthier lives.

Our main objectives are to increase availability of medical and health care services and to provide health education for the communities we serve. In order to maximize medical access, our clinics will serve as training centers for mid-level providers who serve patients in rural communities, and as epidemiology research facilities investigating the prevalence of diseases and standardizing treatment protocols to advance the state of current global health care.

We believe that quality health care is a fundamental human right, and we envision a world where everyone has access to health care. We will turn this vision into a reality one community at a time, one seed of health at a time.
